stethoscopeMaureen A. Kelly M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Kelly is a board certified pediatrician who completed her residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.  She has been practicing pediatric medicine since 1993.  Dr. Kelly is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Oakland County Medical Society, and the Irish and American Pediatric Society.  Dr. Kelly is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University-William Beaumont School of Medicine.  She has once again been recognized as a “Mom-Approved Doc” by Metro Parent magazine in 2018, 2017, and 2016, and chosen by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Pediatricians”.  She is the recipient of the Patient Choice Award and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award.  In 2012, Dr. Kelly was recognized by the American Medical Association for her commitment to the organization for 20 years. Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her interests include tennis, boating, gardening, traveling, the Detroit Tigers, U of M football, and rescuing wildlife.

Aimee Pollak, MD., F.A.A.P.

Aimee Pollak, MD is a board certified pediatrician who completed her pediatric residency training at Vermont Children’s Hospital in Burlington, Vermont.  She has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2008.  Dr. Pollak is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and The American Medical Association.  Her special interests include preventative medicine and developmental screening.  She encourages active involvement of her patients and  families in their medical care to achieve the best outcomes possible.  In her free time Dr. Pollak enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children.  She loves playing outside, reading books and crafting.

Amy Johnson, FNP-C

Amy Johnson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 2009, and her graduate degree from Georgetown University in 2016. Amy worked as an RN in the neonatal ICU at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital for seven years prior to receiving her Master’s degree. Prior to working at Bloomfield Pediatric Care, she practiced family medicine for a year and a half. Amy is a member of the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interests include seeing neonatal ICU graduates and preventative medicine. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and hanging out with her three doggies.

Val Alef, FNP-C

Val has been a nurse for over 20 years and a nurse practitioner working in primary care pediatrics for the past 15 years. She has 3 kids ages 4-10. Val enjoys working out, reading a good book, and spending time with her family. She loves her job because she gets to interact with kids, parents, and teenagers. She helps them, along with their parents, to promote health and prevent illness. Additionally, she says that the relationships she forms are the best reward.
